why you should read my blog

Life is inspiring. Sometimes it inspires tears, other times laughter, anger, fear, or joy. Sometimes my life inspires these emotions all in one day! I have great 3 energetic kids(and one on the way) that teach me something new every day, and a husband that makes all the craziness worth it. I am always amazed at how different one day is from another even though I stay at home with my kids. I hope you'll stay tuned to see what this inspiring life teaches me through my children, marriage, faith, and friends.

We are all different and have different minds. I love that about the blogging community, every blog is so different. I love reading your blogs and laughing, crying, and learning with you. I hope my blog inspires the same.

I know I'm pregnant when...

1) the season premiere of Biggest Loser makes me cry.
2) I crave good n' plentys and an iced mocha.
3) I go through the drive thru at Burger King to get my husband the fish sandwiches that are on special, but somehow orders chicken sandwiches!(Thankfully I realized it before they made the food, so he got what he wanted)
4) doing the dishes makes me nauseous.
5) okay, pretty much EVERYTHING makes me nauseous!
6) my patience level has gone down almost in half. My poor kids.
7) I am ALWAYS tired!
8) I am unmotivated yet still irritated that my house is so dirty.
9) my kids are watching more tv.(I like to cuddle with them on the couch)
10) I am so achy. The easiest sign for me is a cramp in my booty, I got the same cramp with every pregnancy. This time it is relentless!

I'm sure this pregnancy will have a lot more surprises and quirks before it's over. I will be sure to keep you posted. I already have had a lot of "pregnancy brain" moments. Nothing as bad as putting a poopy diaper in the freezer like I did last time(don't ask, I have no idea!).

I know my blog has been lacking pictures lately, I couldn't find my camera. I just found it and will start adding pics again.

my first "not me" Monday

Every pregnancy I am NOT extremely tired and achy in the beginning. My house is NOT a disaster. My kids have NOT been running around in their underwear because they are out of clean clothes. I did NOT let my fish tank get so dirty that you can't see the fish. I do NOT still have the seats from my van in my living room that we took out 3 weeks ago to go camping. I have NOT been taking naps with my kids instead of making my house livable.

I did NOT write this while my kids were whining that they want some food. I hope this is what a not me Monday should be. If you want to give it a try too click on the button at the top to go to MkMama's blog and join the fun.

Baby #4

Once again I have been HORRIBLE about blogging. I am sorry. I *haven't had as much access to my computer as I normally do and I've been so tired and sick. As you probably guessed by the title of this post, we're expecting baby number 4. I haven't been to the doctor to get due date estimates or anything yet, but I'm guessing April.

My kids are hilarious. I told them there's a baby growing in Mommy's tummy and they all had different reactions. Madi just said "Baby" and did the sign language for it at the same time.

Duncan didn't seem to excited. He just said "oh, there's a baby in my tummy too?" I told him there's only a baby in MOMMY'S tummy and that it will get bigger and bigger until it comes out of Mommy and is as big as baby Zoey.(The boys best friend Ethan just had a baby sister) After that careful explination he just looked up at me and asked "is it in your peeko?" (peeko is what he call our belly buttons)

Logan just looked at me funny. I didn't get much reaction out of him until I asked if he wanted another brother or sister. He was very addiment about the fact he wanted a brother. When asked the same question Duncan looked excited and said "I want a Zoey!"

I can't wait to see how they react to Mommy's changing belly and to ultra sound pictures. They are such originals, it's hard to imagine what this baby will be like.

I will keep you updated. When I know details you will know. I still have a lot to post about the summer. I'll start tomorrow while the hubby is at school. It's his first day of 4th year. Pray that it goes well. I hope everyone has a great day.

Baby picture blog hop

I love looking back on pictures of my kids when they were babies. Madi is only 15 months, but she's hardly a baby anymore. It goes by too fast! Though it was hard to choose just one picture for each kid, I did it! Here's what I came up with.

I'm back in bussiness

I have had a great and very busy August, unfortunately that means I haven't blogged like I would like to. I plan on writing a lot more now that things are calmed down. I look forward to writing down all the great things that I have seen and done this summer. I also took some great pictures(too few of them). I hope no one is too mad for my lack of content over the month of August. I promise September will be full of great posts, starting with a baby picture themed blog hop!

sick baby, cranky husband, crazy kids...life

Josh started working nights on Sunday and it's been a rough transition. We get less time together even though he's home, I have to try to keep the kids quiet, and the worse part of all is he has been REALLY cranky. He probably doesn't even realize it, but I have to try really hard not to be offended by the lack of conversation and signs of affection. I do look forward to Labor Day, that is when he should be on a normal schedule again. We also get a week long break from it starting the 23rd. We're taking the kids on their first camping trip.

On top of the cranky husband I have a sick little girl. She's been pretty pitiful for the last few days. She has thrown up once or twice each day and just sits around half asleep all day, not playing or even crying. This morning she fell asleep in the most uncomfortable looking position(see picture on left). I hope the doctor can give us some insight on how to help her.

The boys are the same as ever, full of energy, hungry, and messy. Logan is excited because he found his Tag pen and Mommy put new batteries in his leapster, but he still doesn't stay put for too long. Mommy doesn't sleep well without daddy, but I still manage to keep up with them and keep them quiet enough that Daddy can sleep. It's hard to get a moment to do anything. My house is destroyed, but instead of cleaning it, I took my spare moment to write this. You're welcome :)

Things around here are crazy, but I still feel like the luckiest woman in the world. I don't want to take any of this for granted. Even the tough times are a gift that I need to cherish. Thank you Lord for the crazy days that help us to appreciate the little things that we are given.
